“space is not the place” by o+a investigates the role of hearing in reclaiming a sense of “place” in this ever accelerating world.  what are the qualities of “place” and “non-place”,  and what defines “placey-ness”?  o+a address these questions in this newly commissioned lecture/performance that extends their long term artistic research towards a “hearing perspective”  with elements of both humor and tragedy.
